Area 2 District 22 – Annual Area Meeting 2024

On the weekend of 23^rd March, members of clubs in Area 2, District 22, will meet in Rockhampton for the 2024 Area 2 Meeting. The venue will be the Athelstane House Function Centre at 107 Ward Street Rockhampton. Members of the Rockhampton Club together with Area 2 Director Robyn Liddell, have prepared a full program for the weekend and look forward to welcoming members in Area 2 to the meeting.

District 22 CONFERENCE 2023 -Update

The District 22 Conference 2023 is successfully concluded. From the warm welcome to Mackay by Mayor Williamson and Aunty Pat Corrie to the final business closure on Sunday 10 September, delegates and guests enjoyed the guest speakers, the several presentations by our education award winners, our Zonta International Representative Annika from Sweden and the Zonta spirit generated by many Zontians being and working together for the future of District 22. Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members and Nominating Committee, as well as to the many first-time Conference delegates who participated in the business sessions. Thanks also to the Zontians of Mackay who hosted the event and to the Organising Committee for their months of planning to deliver a happy and productive District Conference. The District Conference 2025 will be held in Mount Isa. In the meantime the 2024 Zonta International Convention in Brisbane will be the next major event to which we look forward.
