The District 22 Conference 2023 is successfully concluded. From the warm welcome to Mackay by Mayor Williamson and Aunty Pat Corrie to the final business closure on Sunday 10 September, delegates and guests enjoyed the guest speakers, the several presentations by our education award winners, our Zonta International Representative Annika from Sweden and the Zonta spirit generated by many Zontians being and working together for the future of District 22. Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members and Nominating Committee, as well as to the many first-time Conference delegates who participated in the business sessions. Thanks also to the Zontians of Mackay who hosted the event and to the Organising Committee for their months of planning to deliver a happy and productive District Conference. The 2024 Zonta International Convention in Brisbane is also over with some 1700 Zontians from Clubs around the world attending, electing our leadership for the 2024-2026 Biennium and setting our direction for the coming two year. The cycle now begins again with planning underway for our 2025 District 22 Conference which will be hosted by the wonderful Zontians from Mt Isa.
