Zonta International District 22 Events
Join us for a magical night at Spotlight Theatrical Company’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. This beloved Andrew Lloyd Webber musical brings the biblical story of Joseph to life with dazzling costumes, vibrant colours, catchy songs, and high-energy performances. A tale of resilience, dreams, and triumph, this vibrant show is perfect for all ages.
Just as Joseph’s coat is made up of many colours, domestic violence takes many forms—physical, emotional, financial, and psychological. By supporting this Zonta Club of Paradise Point fundraiser during Domestic Violence Awareness Month in May, you are helping us in our mission to build a better world for women and girls. Enjoy an unforgettable evening of theatre while making a meaningful impact in our community.
Get your tickets now and be part of the change.
Did you know that Australians discard on average 23kg of clothing per person each year with a large proportion of this ending up in landfill. By hosting a pre-loved clothing market our hope is to contribute positively to a circular economy.
This market will be held during Domestic Violence Awareness Month in conjunction with a Suitcase Drive.
Bring along your disused suitcases to donate to those in need.
Preloved items to be clothing and accessories only (including shoes, belts, scarves, handbags, jewellery, hats) Strictly no household or other items.
Put this in your calendar as a ‘not to be missed’ event.
We will have sweat treats from the Zonta team, Mumma T’s will be providing refreshments and Tammy and Sheree will be available for express massages.
Invite all your friends along, pick yourself up a new outfit or two and help out our circular economy
Looking for a fun day to have with friends or work colleagues while making a difference. The Zonta Club of Maryborough’s Barefoot Bowls Charity Day is a unique and delightful event to bring the community together for a day of lawn bowls, camaraderie, and charitable giving. This event is not just about enjoying a leisurely game with friends and colleagues; it’s an opportunity to support important causes and make a tangible difference in the lives of those Zonta supports. Money raised will be used for Ask For Angela initiative, Lovebites Respectful Relationships Program, Yoorana Women’s Shelter and clothing packs for sexual assault victims at the hospital.
Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or a complete novice, Zonta’s Barefoot Bowls Charity Day promises an unforgettable experience filled with fun, laughter, and goodwill. The day will include games, sit down lunch, and the bar will be open. Each team member receives a shirt, stubby cooler and pen.
