“It’s A Man’s Issue: Voices of Change”

The Zonta Club of Hervey Bay, Fraser Coast Domestic & Family Violence Alliance, the Rotary Clubs of the Fraser Coast and Fraser Coast Regional Council invite you to a special breakfast talk featuring It’s a Man’s Issue (IAMA) Facilitator Jacob Levin on Thursday, 9 October at The Clubhouse, Hervey Bay.

Mainly targeted to Year 12 students, this educational talk will empower today’s youth with knowledge and tools to challenge harmful attitudes and behaviours around consent, rape culture and toxic masculinity. Local MPs, government representatives, members of various community organisations are also expected to attend.

The event is being organised to celebrate Sexual Assault Awareness Month in October.
