October Monthly Meeting

At Tuesday nights Warwick Zonta dinner meeting Anne Wilson was the guest speaker. Anne represented the Southern Downs Refugee and Migrant Network. Anne informed us what this group is about and how they help new migrants settle into the community. Anne was presented with a Zonta Warwick coaster.

Two years ago Warwick Zonta gave money to this group to help purchase school uniforms for the young girls of a migrant family originally from Afghanistan. Anne was able to tell us that the girls have settled into school here in Warwick and are doing well.
