IWD 2021 Breakfast – Rockhampton

On Monday 8th March, 2021 at 6:30am the annual International Women’s Day Breakfast will be hosted by the Zonta Club of Rockhampton Inc at the Frenchville Sports Club, Clifton Street, North Rockhampton.

The global UN Women theme for International Women’s Day (IWD) 2021 is “Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”. This theme celebrates the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future.

Sacha Kirk will be the Guest Speaker. Sacha is a Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Lawcadia, an Australian headquartered legal technology company.  Winner of the Australian Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 (legal) and awarded Women in Law Marketing Communications Professional of the Year 2020. Sacha is passionate about transformation in the legal industry and applies creative thinking processes, strategy, and design thinking to identifying pain points and developing innovative solutions. Sacha is a proud cricket mum, supporter of women in sport and leadership, and a qualified grief counsellor.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast while we showcase the talent and contribution of women in the local area through the presentation of the Zonta Living Treasure Award and the Young Women in Public Affairs Award. There will be a raffle and a lucky door prize.
