Zonta Club of Dalby Area Inc.

The Dalby Wambo region, situated in the heart of the Darling Downs, has its own distinct recipe for uniqueness. Located at the crossroads of the Warrego, Moonie, Condamine and Bunya Highways, Dalby is conveniently only a one-hour drive to Toowoomba, two-and-a-half-hours from Brisbane, and three-hours from the Sunshine and Gold Coasts.

With a town population of 11,000, Dalby has become a booming regional centre for agricultural, shopping, manufacturing, industry and lifestyle.

Settled alongside the scenic Myall Creek, the town of Dalby prides itself on offering a quality lifestyle, in a clean and natural environment.

Surrounding the township of Dalby is the Wambo Shire -where the Bunya Pine grows and the Condamine River flows (when it rains!!)

With a population of 5,500 people, the shire takes in the towns of Jandowae, Bell, Kaimkillenbun, Warra, Jimbour, Macalister and Kogan.

Wambo is known for its rich black soils, strong agricultural industry (primarily cotton, grain and livestock) and for its emerging mining and energy industry.
